Scottish International Scholarship Programme.
The Scottish International Scholarship Programme is targeted at graduates in science, technology and the creative industries, and aims to create lasting connections between Scotland and industry leaders and entrepreneurs across the world.
The scholarship
The programme is offering 22 scholarships for the academic year 2007/2008 for courses at any Scottish higher education institution.
Basic Eligibility
You must meet the following criteria to apply:
1) A permanent resident of People’s Republic of China (excluding Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) / India / South Africa / Australia / New Zealand / Singapore and be in your home country at the time of application.
2) Aged between 25 and 35 years old at the time of application.
3) Have 3 - 5 years relevant working experience.
4) Demonstrate a good working level of English (IELTS 6.5 score / certificate may be required).
5) Not currently working or studying in the UK.
6) Not in receipt of any other scholarships or award for the academic year 2007/8.
7) Hold a good first degree in a related subject from a recognised university.

Earth sciences,Life sciences, Physical sciences, Science and technology, Architecture, Design,Communications - Media and Culture, Fashion and Beauty, Music and the Performing Arts, Visual Arts.
