A.J. and Rita Morris International Scholarship Program.
This scholarship program was established in order to provide funds for qualified students to enroll in Waynesburg College to complete a degree in business administration. Students will be selected from a group of "qualifying" nations, which include Venezuela, Kazakstan, Nigeria, and Guyana.
Overview
The scholarship, supported by The Endowed Fund for the A.J. and Rita Morris Center for International Programs, provides for the tuition, room, board, fees, round-trip transportation from the native country and a monthly stipend for living expenses. Responsibility for the administration of both the Fund and the Program reside with the official representatives of Waynesburg College. An Advisory Committee assists in the identification, recruitment and enrollment of qualified students from the selected countries.
Benefits
The student who is selected as a Morris Scholar will be the recipient of full tuition, room, board, appropriate insurance coverage (health, vision and dental) and required textbooks for a twelve-month period.
Academic Requirements
1) In order to be eligible for consideration for the Morris Scholar Program, a student must be a recent graduate of an undergraduate institution.
2) During that undergraduate experience and any accompanying work experience, the student must have demonstrated outstanding scholarship and leadership qualities
