Denmark`s International Study Scholarships.

The DIS Board has allocated scholarship funds for students who otherwise could not afford to study in Denmark. The scholarship award is not intended to reduce the financial aid package from your institution.

The scholarships

Four types of scholarships are offered, all awarded on the basis of financial need:

1) The DIS Scholarship, consisting of grants in the range of $500-1,000 per semester plus a small number of $2,000 grants. The maximum summer scholarship is usually $500

2) The DIS Work Scholarship of $350 per semester (2005/2006) and $400 per semester (2006/2007)

3) The Knud Helm-Erichsen Scholarship of $500 - $2,000

4) The Mary Dau Scholarship of $500 - $2,000
