Salem International University Scholarship & Financial Aid.
Undergraduate and Graduate International Scholarships are offered to encourage academic excellence and student leadership, as well as to continue SIU`s tradition of enrolling a "Community of Scholars" from around the world. The grants and scholarships are available to both freshman and transfer students with outstanding grades.
Overview
Students must be enrolled full-time, make normal academic progress, live in an SIU residence hall, and participate in an SIU meal plan. All undergraduate applicants are considered for these scholarship awards once all application materials are received. Students who are awarded scholarships are required to study at least two academic semesters at SIU. Priority will be given to applicants who apply early.
Coursework, TOEFL and/or SAT scores are all considered when determining a scholarship award. All awards are renewable based on satisfactory academic achievement and good standing at the University.
Eligibility
Scholarships are available to first-time applicants only! These applicants must demonstrate outstanding scholastic achievement, leadership qualities and community involvement. Applicants without the TOEFL, IELTS or Verbal SAT scores will not be considered.
Selection Process
Only the most qualified applicants will be awarded scholarships. A Scholarship Committee considers many variables when making its selections including the overall strength of the applicant group. Early applicants will get priority.
This scholarship is also available for Graduate level.
