The University of Nebraska–Lincoln is committed to an international presence on campus and celebrates the diversity brought forth by students from different countries and cultures. Upon admission to undergraduate studies, new international students are considered for the following scholarship awards:

International Student Scholar Awards
All international students who are admitted to NEBRASKA may be eligible for a merit-based scholarship worth US$2,500.00 up to US$10,402.00 per year. Students are automatically considered for the scholarships once they have been admitted - there are no additional forms to be completed. Students receiving scholarships will be notified in their admission letter.
The Paul Robitschek Czech Study Program
Provides scholarships to undergraduate students from universities or institutions of higher learning in the Czech Republic so that they may fully participate in American life while studying at the University of Nebraska for one academic year.
University Honors Program Scholarship
The University Honors Program provides a challenging and creative academic program for talented and highly motivated students. Students must complete an Honors Application to be considered for the program. You are encouraged to apply by the early notification deadline of November 19. The second and final application deadline is March 1. Honors Program Scholarship: 500 Textbook Scholarships in the amount of $250 per semester, fall and spring semesters only, for up to 135 credit hours, four years, or the completion of a bachelor’s degree, whichever comes first.
Summary of the Application Checklist
1) Complete the application. You can apply online or by Apply by downloading their paper application.
2) Include the $45 application fee. Online applicants may pay using Visa or MasterCard on a secure site.
3) Submit original high school or secondary education transcripts or mark sheets with certificates or diploma in native language.
4) They recommend SAT test scores. Use their school code to send your test score to the University. Nebraska`s school code is 6877.
5) Students whose native language is not English must furnish current (within the past two years) scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) administered by the Educational Testing Services (ETS).
6) International students, including those attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, must provide evidence of adequate financial resources.
