University of Bridgeport International Scholarship Program.
The University of Bridgeport is pleased to announce the establishment of a new, expanded International Scholarship Program. These undergraduate scholarships are offered to encourage academic excellence and student leadership and to continue UB`s tradition of enrolling a "Community of Scholars" from around the world.
Overview
The grants and scholarships are available to both freshman and transfer students. All awards are renewable based on satisfactory academic achievement and good standing at the University. Students must be enrolled full-time, make normal academic progress, live in a University dormitory, and participate in a University Meal Plan.
Eligibility
Undergraduate applicants who demonstrate a commitment to their declared field of study, outstanding scholastic achievement, community involvement and leadership qualities will be considered. Applicants must submit s TOEFL score of 525 or better (550 or better for the Academic Excellence and Leadership Scholarship).
Application
All qualified applicants are reviewed for the scholarship. To be considered, a student must submit the University of Bridgeport Application for International Students ,the non-refundable application fee, all academic credentials, examination results. University of Bridgeport applications are available at many secondary schools, U.S. Embassies, USIA offices, Fulbright or binational commissions and through the University of Bridgeport Office of International Admissions.
